Another highlight of last weeks Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival was presented by Mimco. They showcased their Memoirs of a Fictonatrix collection at a industrial warehouse in Docklands. Walking into the space I was wowed with a unique circular runway staged around a human sized birdcage. We were then ushered to our seats and told to pop on gorgeous jewelled Mimco eye masks before the show was to commence. Of course I was trying to peer under mine.

Backstage | Opening Show
It’s such a cool feeling heading backstage before a fashion show. We only had 5 minutes to shoot as it was 5 minutes to 7pm and the show was meant to start at 7pm, of course with fashion events its always ‘fashionably late darling’ so we weren’t too worried. I love it because its where you see the designers, stylists, models, hair and makeup artists and PR queens work their magic, it’s so interesting to see this interaction.Continue Reading
I Adore Flemington
Yesterday I attended the fabulous Myer Beautiful Girls Lunch at the always-stunning Flemington Racecourse. Relaxed Racing

This was music to my ears, so much so that I decided to come on board as the Relaxed Racing Fashion Ambassador for this February to March period, I had a great morning at the launch last week alongside Billy Slater, Scherri-Lee Biggs and Sophie Van Den Akker.Continue Reading

What a day! I am in recovery mode after my antics at the Polo yesterday. The appeal of attending the Portsea Polo is the low key vibe that welcomes you as soon as your feet land on the grassy grounds of the Point Nepean National Park. Match that vibe with sophisticated marquees that are flowing with A-grade quality food and refreshing cocktails and its easy to see why its one of the biggest events on our social summer calendar. I trotted around in the Peroni Marquee all day and loved it ( big love to Peroni + Kate Keane PR for having me) normally I like to do a little wandering but I was having too much fun that I didn’t move from the one spot the whole day. The entire marquee was transformed into a chic Roman cafe with a lush antipasto bar, traditional Italian white chairs and a few vespers parked out the front.Continue Reading
