Spring is only a couple of weeks away, which is crazy, as I feel like I only got my winter wardrobe sorted. Once you see all the cool shoes that Wittner has in-store, you will be excited to say goodbye to your winter boots and tights in place for cool lace-ups, edgy points and sweet flats. Oh yes!

Spring is only a couple of weeks away, which is crazy, as I feel like I only just got my winter wardrobe sorted. Once you see all the cool shoes that Wittner has in-store, you will be excited to say goodbye to your winter boots and tights in place for cool lace-ups, edgy points and sweet flats. Oh yes!

I have noticed that Wittner has recently taken their shoes to new heights with a focus on comfort, out of the box designs and unique colour combinations.

I can’t get enough of their feminine shapes that add the ultimate finishing touch to any outfit.

Pretty nudes, interesting textures and tie-ups are key features in this new collection. They work back with the dusty pinks and earthy hues that are coming through for spring summer fashion.

Here are three of my favourite shoe styles this season and how I like to style them:

1. The Strappy Point: Is there anything better than mixing an edgy tie-up strap with a pointed toe? I think not. It creates the perfect balance between sexy and classy. It means the shoe can be worn at work when you want to look sophisticated, straight out to drinks with the girls. I have always turned to blacks or greys on my feet (because they are easy to mix and match with everything else I own) that was until I saw this perfect shade of nude.

I love wearing this nude lace-up with my longer lined skirts (the point elongates the leg, which is something we need when wearing a longer hemline). I have teamed the skirt with a simple cotton tee (sometimes less is more) the cotton contrasts with the luxe skirt, and I love that it keeps my whole look tonal.

A tonal colour palette from head to toe was big in winter, and we are seeing this trend move forward into summer with fresh whites, soft pinks and dreamy creams now running the show. (and for those of you that still can’t look past a classic shade, you can also find these in black)

2. The Perfect Flat: It’s no secret that I am a heel over flats girl any day of the week.  If I am going to wear flats, they need to blow me away. These strappy flats definitely do. They are super comfy, but they also look the part.

These babies team perfectly with denim shorts or skinny leg jeans; they are a great trans-seasonal shoe as they work now, and when the days get warmer.

They are the perfect addition to any weekend look; I love wearing mine with my simple, minimal outfits as they add a little edge.

3. Monochrome Points: Sleek and sophisticated monochrome is still a big trend for spring (yes, my blood runs black and white, so this makes me very happy). Give the classic look a modern makeover with patterns, textures, geometric shapes and interesting cuts.

These black and white printed leather babies have it all with their cool check pattern and tassel strap. I would wear these to the office, an important meeting or date night with my hubby.

These heels can be worn a couple of different ways depending on my mood. The strap is long, so I can wrap it up around my leg for a night-time look or securing the strap in one spot around my ankle for a classic look that is perfect for the office.

Stripes are still big this season, so I love this high-neck silk shirt because I can dress it up or wear it low-key with a pair of jeans. I am also obsessed with these monochrome arched heels they feature the same unique print but the shape is a touch sexier.
