RUNWAY 5- HARPER’S BAZAAR

I’m embracing all the pencil skirts I have seen in-stores at the moment,so I thought I would give one a whirl last night. I first came across Brisbane label Ringuet through online boutique Alterior Motif a year ago. The label is young but already making a huge stamp. Look out for my interview with Benjamin next week where I share images from his upcoming AW13 collection.

Last nights show featured designs by Ellery, Sass & Bide, Bassike, Arthur Galan, Christopher Esber, Easton Pearson and Karla Spectic.

Sass and Bide’s collection was strong, you cant go past their grasp of structure. Their range featured mainly shades of black & white with geometric shapes and bold lines. I love how they are working that monochrome trend with a different twist.  They also introduced pops of silver and yellow.

Ellery’s signature tailoring was out in force, I love how her collection has a sports luxe influence this season. Her silver and orange metallic hues are spot on! I have my eye on her skirt in this great white mesh/ netting.

Now for my personal fav-Bassike, my go to brand for basics. Bang on collection yet again, with amazing leathers in black and white.
