On my birthday, a few weeks ago, I spent half the day shooting with one of my favourite Australian fashion brands, Viktoria + Woods. I love that they pushed me to go for a different beauty look. You all know, I am (very) set in my ways when it comes to hair and makeup.
I tend to always stick to my wavy hair and bronzed, contoured makeup. When I arrived at this shoot, it was a raw and undone look they were after with barely there makeup, and I was excited to try something new. It was also great that I only had to spend ten minutes in the makeup chair
Now to the threads. It was a hard task, to make this edit of my favourite Viktoria + Woods pieces, as their winter collection is always so strong. You wouldn’t believe how many of their coats I have hanging in the wardrobe! But every season I can’t help but add more to the collection. I still wear one of my favourite navy coats I bought four years ago, and it doesn’t feel dated.
The Houndstooth blazer I shot in is must have! The collar, the large pockets ( that I can actually place my hands in- tick!) and the oversized vibe; I am in love.
The stirrup pants take me back to wearing them for a short stint in the 90’s (yes, I have photos to prove it) this time I feel far more fashionable pairing it with this long line Philadelphia blazer that features gold hardware. It’s going to be my staple all winter long.
This all white look is to die for. I have said it before, but there is nothing better than crisp white in winter. This knit comes in grey and navy too and super flattering with the belted strap feature, even though I also love wearing it undone like the pictures below.
