I am excited to share the images from Henleys baby room. I shared the video (watch here) a few weeks ago, but here are those detail shots. I collaborated with the incredibly talented interior decorator Nicole Rosenberg from Libery Interiors
I have always admired her interior styling, particularly her baby and children’s rooms are so beautiful and always unique. It was such a privilege to work with Nicole and see her vision and incredible ideas come to life.
Special mention to the fabulous Sam at Top Notch Coatings– he and his great team did a fabulous job painting the room to perfection- and they also placed the wallpaper with their meticulous touch. I loved their work so much that I got them to also paint my master bedroom (restore the fireplace) and also the living an kitchen area.
I love our Australiana inspired wallpaper from the team at Native Swinson I wasn’t even sure if I wanted wallpaper in my room. I never thought I was a wallpaper kind of gal- but Nicole quickly talked me out of that (in a subtle way of course). As soon as she brought over her book of wallpaper samples we both fell in love with this beautiful muted green print. I love that it’s not too ‘pretty’ and the colour is so unique- we didn’t want to go with the typical blue or grey.
The linen block out curtains are from the team at Lovelight and the fabric by Warwick .We also used the same fabric for our huge pendant light. The Rakumba pendant light is a big feature in the room- and because it’s in the same eye line as the curtains, we thought it was best to keep it in the same tone.
Our velvet emerald green chair and side table are from Globewest I love the texture and look of this chair. It’s super comfy and not what you would typically expect in a nursery. It’s also the perfect tone to make a statement in the room.
Love to Gen2 Carpentry for creating the shadow box mouldings in the room. My house has a traditional Victorian feel. It has lots of details such as timber framed windows, high ceilings, bay windows, intricate led light windows and decorated plasterwork that give the house character. The shadow box mouldings will be something that we will look at introducing in other rooms when we renovate in the future.
It wouldn’t be a baby room without the fab cot. I love Urban Baby, as they carry the best baby brands and products. This cot is from one of my favourite baby brands Oeuf. It has tractional vibes (which suit my house) but isn’t too chunky.
I have included links to all our amazing suppliers below. I would like to also mention that everything included in the room are from brands I love. Nicole and I didn’t get paid to feature any of these brands, as I wanted to make sure that Henleys room was filled with a mix of great quality brands. Some of the brands collaborated with us on it- but they were handpicked by Nicole and I.
