Oaks Day is traditionally known as ladies day and I must say it was one for the ladies in the Lavazza marquee as we welcomed one of the biggest heart throbs in Brody Jenner. He definitely got the girls excited, everyone was fighting their way to get a photo with the reality star. He was quite the rock star keeping his black sunglasses on all day. He was a very sweet guy and was joined in the marquee with a bunch of his down to earth Aussie mates as he loves to surf so he comes to Australia regularly. He fitted in with the cool Lavazza vibe as he danced the day away with all the guests.
Other popular guests yesterday included the Stenmark twins, Zac and Jordan. It’s nice that Lavazza HQ have thought about us girls on ladies day. The vibe in the marquee was electric and I can call it now that my Spring Racing adventure is over, Oaks Day was my favourite. Heather Small who is famous for some of the biggest 90’s hits also brought the house down when she sang her classics. Her voice was out of this world. The afternoon was also topped off with a performance from hot violinist Sally Cooper, it was my favourite moment.
The fashion was feminine and fresh on this ladies day with popping colours, pretty florals and pastel tones very popular.
Oaks Day is my last day of the Spring Racing Carnival as I am jet setting overseas today. I was so lucky to spend everyday in the Lavazza marquee, I felt right at home with their amazing coffee, food and hospitality. I am already looking forward to the races next year.
